What do I do with my baby or children?

I would never have chosen to work with pregnant, postpartum, and overly stressed parents if I didn’t also plan on adapting to your needs.

In a perfect world, you would have help with your children so that you could spend the hour in session focused on yourself and your healing. But if you do not have access to that kind of support that is okay! You are welcome to have your baby with you, nurse/bottle feed, have your needy toddler in the background asking you for the 14th snack in an hour, or your bigger kids asking you why the wifi isn’t working. Parenthood is messy, but we will adapt so that you can have this time, even if it has to be interrupted by the needs of your children.

Once I begin offering in-person sessions we can talk more about how this will look. Babies are attached at the hip and I fully expect and understand that your baby might need to come with you in person. It can be harder for toddlers and older children to sit in a quiet and boring office, so telehealth might be the better option in that regard. Talk with me in our phone call/sessions if you want to discuss this further.
